The “ATOK Designer Days” exhibition was launched on Saturday the 1st of August at the Czech pavilion of EXPO 2015 in Milan and will last until Sunday the 16th of August.

VEBA, as a member of ATOK (the Czech Association of the Textile-Clothing-Leather Industry), formed an important part of this exhibition by presenting a wide range of VEBA luxury product lines. ...

ITF Dubai

VEBA presented its products once again after several years at a textile fair in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, this time at year 2 of the ITF International Textile Fair in Dubai from 26th to 27th of April, 2015. During this 2 day fair nearly 150 exhibitors from 20 countries, with an increase in European ones in particular, presented their products to more than 10,000 visitors. Our exhibition consisted of products for the African and European markets as well as novelties for the Arab world...

The Czech National Day

The Czech national day took place on 15th of May around the pool of the Czech pavilion. The day-long programme directed by the Caban brothers revolved around water, the key element of the architecture and exhibition of the Czech pavilion. Part of the programme was a fashion show hosted by Alena Šeredová and created by Beata Rajská with VEBA fabrics....

VEBA is a Partner of the Czech Delegation at EXPO 2015

 
The Universal Exhibition Expo 2015 is coming back to the European continent and will once more be accessible to Czech visitors after a fifteen-year period. Milan, a fashion and cultural centre, was selected to host Expo 2015. We can look forward to an unforgettable event during which about 130 exhibiters from around the world will exhibit in an area larger than 1 square kilometre from 1/5/2015 to 31/10/2015. Waterways separating the exhibition grounds and the surrounding areas will emphasise the compact world atmosphere where nature pervades architecture.

The theme for 2015 is Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life. The exhibition will attempt to present the topics of food and nutrition in connection with science and progress as well as through culture and traditions.

The Czech Republic will be represented by a pavilion from the KOMA MODULAR CONSTRUCTION workshop located in Vizovice according to the architectural studio Chybik+Kristof Associated architects.

A pool should also form part of the Czech pavilion which will symbolize the strong Spa tradition or the age-old Czech longing for the sea.

The Czech pavilion will be impersonated by Alena Šeredová, the first vice miss of the Czech Republic in 1998 and the fourth place at the Miss World competition, who is now living in Italy.

 

VEBA: Partner of the Czech delegation at Expo 2015

 
VEBA, as an up-and-coming producer, won the opportunity to become a Partner of the Czech delegation at EXPO 2015. The prestigious Czech fashion designer Beata Rajská has created outfits from VEBA´s exceptional collection of light voile fabrics in combination with digital prints designed exclusively for the hostesses and stewardesses who will wear the collection throughout the duration of the exhibition. Thus, VEBA will present its luxurious clothing fabrics at EXPO 2015.

The first unveiling of VEBA´s and Beata Rajská´s designer models was part of the presentation of new postage stamps issued on the occasion of the Czech involvement in the Universal Exhibition Expo 2015 at a press conference on 18/03/2015 which was held in the court yard of the Main Post Office in Prague.

A souvenir shop operated by the Czech company Arteo will also be part of the Czech pavilion. VEBA is preparing scarves made from the same fabric used for the hostess´s and stewardess´s clothes which will be presented in luxury boxes with the CZ EXPO logo.

The major reasons for VEBA´s involvement in EXPO 2015 are the company´s tradition, quality and uniqueness as well as its rich past. VEBA´s presence at this exhibition is a perfect opportunity to present our brand, traditional and new production lines and to establish new partnerships. It is also the reflexion of a prosperous company from the Czech Republic.

VEBA models photographed at the Play Broumovsko Exhibition

The interactive exhibition Play Broumovsko, the biggest regional exhibition of all times, ended in February. Within less than twelve months this original project located on our company premises attracted around forty thousand visitors from all over the Czech Republic and from abroad.

The Play Broumovsko Exhibition was installed on Veba Broumov textile factory grounds in March of last year. For almost a whole year, thousands of visitors explored and discovered more than 50 original exhibits by Czech and foreign artists in the light and dark halls of the former spinning mill.

VEBA took advantage of the renovated location and unique exhibits to photograph its luxury dresses in order to present them especially in European metropolises...

“Welcome to Spring”

The "Welcome to Spring" social event, which took place on 21.3.2015 in the Conference Room of the Broumov Information Centre, was organised by the town of Broumov in cooperation with the VEBA joint stock company.

The main program was the VEBA fashion show. The Prague modelling, casting and production agency DOS AMIGOS was in charge of the production while the leading Czech stylist Dušan Chrástek, who works for both Czech and foreign companies, was responsible for the styling.

Musical entertainment was provided throughout the three-hour program by the Broumov Music School under the direction of the saxophonist Bohdan Janeczko and the trumpeter and Director of the Music School Štěpán Přibyl as well as by the students of Gymnázium Broumov led by Eva Kroupová.

The evening was hosted by Petr Vondráček and his band Lokomotiva ended the whole event.
