VEBA in new Salif Keita’s music video

VEBA presents a brand new music video of the king of African music Salif Keita named TONTON.We are pleased to say that most of the singers and actors appearing in the video are wearing VEBA brocade, which is perceived in West Africa as a symbol of luxury and quality.

The music video is part of the VEBA COULEUR marketing campaign, during which many billboards were installed and also TV and radio commercials were launched throughout West Africa.

The producer of the clip is a Malian agency Creacom Afrique and VEBA fabrics were tailored by Salinah Mali.

"My first VEBA clothing collection called 'Emergence' was produced for the 2017 African Fashion week in Edmonton, Alberta. One of the questions asked from the audience was "Where do you get your fabric?"

I am Gillian Zubko and I reside in western Canada. I love color and natural fabric. VEBA fabrics provide and have been integral to my creative process. I discovered VEBA in 2012 when my sister sent me fabric from Prague, Czech Republic where VEBA is based.

VEBA fabrics inspired me to create clothing. Canada is not colorful compared to other countries. Blue jeans are a staple in our wardrobe and worn everywhere! I've made multiple pairs of VEBA trousers and wear them everywhere. People always comment. The patterns are recognized by Afro Canadians and make them smile. I LOVE the colors and patterns of the prints!

The fantastic traditional designs with the amazing weave quality of VEBA Textiles are the main attraction to my creations. I swoon over VEBA! The colors with the texture and finish of the natural fabric are spectacular and lends to versatility for wearing my clothing designs.

VEBA at the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2017

The fifth annual Africa Fashion Week Nigeria took place in Nigeria's largest city Lagos at the beginning of June. Local designers, exhibitors and models from Nigeria and other African countries gathered in the National Theatre. VEBA has traditionally participated in this event and therefore used the opportunity once more to present its latest collection called Mosaic.


We teamed up with Nigerian designer Ofumam by Grace for this purpose. As a result, 12 beautiful outfits from our VEBA fabrics were created. The presentation of the Mozaic collection took place as part of the prestigious Premium Designers Catwalk block and surely was one of the highlights of the closing day of the festival which was visited by more than a thousand people.


The representatives of VEBA who attended the festival were also in the limelight. Indeed, they were the focus of attention of all the visitors, as well as the photographers and TV reporters thanks to their outstanding outfits made from VEBA fabrics.

VEBA took part in Czech Days in Ghana 2017 exhibition

The first annual Czech Days in Ghana exhibition was held in Accra, Ghana in the first half of April. The event was organized by the Czech-Ghana Chamber of Commerce under the patronage of diplomatic leaders of both countries. The aim of the exhibition was to present Czech products to Ghanaian merchants, distributors, investors, and other visitors from different market segments. That is why VEBA, which has long been interested in the Ghana market, could not miss the exhibition.

As you can see in the photos, VEBA fabrics enjoyed great attention in Ghana. Merchants, designers, diplomats and people from other sectors visited our stand. The highlight of the exhibition was a fashion show sparkled by VEBA fabrics

The 3rd annual "Welcome Spring!"

The 3rd annual "Welcome Spring!" event took place on March 25, 2017 in Broumov, Czech Republic. The event organized in cooperation with the city of Broumov, VEBA and the Broumov High Shcool was completely sold out once again.

VEBA presented its products on the catwalk in four stages: VEBA in the comfort of your home, the Shining Gems Collection / Africa, VEBA in Europe and the Universe Collection. The last of these collections which presented the planets of our solar system in daring colour combinations and original designs was met by a standing ovation. All of these outfits were designed and sewn at VEBA.

Once again the organizers donated the proceeds from the ticket sales to the residents of the Broumov retirement home.

In bed with Beata or "As you make your bed…"

The stylish limited edition of luxury bed linen and terry towels, created in cooperation with the Czech fashion designer Beata Rajská, was presented by VEBA at the Heimtextil 2017 fair in Germany. Beata Rajská was there in person accompanied by the models Veronika Chmelířová and Gábina Nováčková who contributed to the pleasant atmosphere by wearing models from the RÍF collection...
